    The U.S. Department of State has a long-standing Worldwide Caution that has been in effect for over a decade. It is updated regularly with the most recent recommendations for international travel. This latest update was issued on September 14, 2017. Read the Worldwide Caution.

  • Europe Travel Alert

    The U.S. Dept. of State issued a Travel Alert for Europe on August 31, 2017, warning that the threat of terrorist attacks by extremist groups is still high throughout Europe.  If you are traveling to a European country, always be on alert, especially at tourist locations and public transit which are often targeted. Enroll in the STEP Program to receive immediate security alerts during your trip.

  • Zika Virus

    Travel alerts have been issued for more than 50 countries around the world due to the spread of Zika virus.  An update on the current situation was recently published by the CDC and WHO. Read more.
